FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The things people ask most. If your question is not here, open a support ticket and we will answer it directly.
Getting started
Ten dollars. You can buy fractions of shares and coins, so you do not need enough for a whole one.
No. Opening an account, verifying your identity and holding assets are all free. Our full fee list is on the fees page.
This varies and is set by us. If your country is not available, the registration form will tell you at signup rather than after.
No. The platform is built to explain itself as you go, and the how it works page walks through everything from opening an account to placing a first trade. If something is unclear, that is worth telling us — it usually means we have explained it badly.
Yes. You can browse every market and see live prices with an account, before adding any money. You only need to verify and deposit when you want to actually buy something.
Verification
It is a legal requirement for any platform handling money, and it protects you — it makes it far harder for anyone to open or take over an account in your name.
Usually within 48 hours. You will get an email as soon as it is reviewed, whether approved or not.
The rejection message explains why — usually a blurry photo or a document that is out of date. You can submit again straight away at no cost.
A government-issued photo ID and a recent proof of address. The exact list is shown when you start verification, since it varies by country.
Only staff reviewing verification, and every access is logged. Documents are stored privately and are never publicly reachable.
Deposits
Once we confirm the payment arrived, your balance updates immediately. How long the payment itself takes depends on the method — crypto is usually under an hour, bank transfers can take a few days.
It lets us match your payment to your account quickly. Without it, confirming a deposit takes considerably longer.
Check the status on your deposits page first — if it still says pending, it is with us for review. If it has been longer than you expected, open a ticket with the reference number.
Limits vary by method and are shown on each one before you send anything.
Open a ticket with your reference number. We can usually match the payment to your account and credit what actually arrived.
Trading
An instruction to buy or sell at a price you choose. It sits open and fills on its own if the market reaches that price. You can cancel at any time, and orders expire after 30 or 60 days.
Stock markets have opening hours. If the relevant market is closed, the order will not go through — the asset page shows the status and when it reopens. Crypto trades around the clock.
Prices move constantly. The figure shown before you confirm is the live price at that moment, and it can shift slightly in the seconds before the order executes.
Yes. You can enter either a number of units or a dollar amount, so you are never blocked by not affording a whole share or coin.
The gap between the buying price and the selling price on any market. It belongs to the market rather than to us, but it is a real cost — buying and immediately selling would return slightly less than you paid.
No. We do not offer leverage or margin, so the most at risk is what you put in.
No. We provide the platform and the prices; the decisions are yours. For advice, speak to a qualified adviser in your country.
Withdrawals
Link a payout account, then request a withdrawal from your wallet. The amount is held aside while we review it, so it cannot be spent twice.
The requested amount moves to your locked balance while the request is reviewed. It has not left your account yet — if the request is rejected or cancelled, it returns to your available balance.
Yes, while it is still pending. You can cancel up to three per day, and the funds unlock immediately.
Requests are reviewed by a person, usually within one business day. How long the payment then takes depends on the method.
Yes. Choose a future date and the funds are set aside straight away, then submitted automatically when the date arrives.
Not from us. Crypto withdrawals carry a blockchain network fee, which is set by the network rather than by us.
Your account
Change your password immediately and open a support ticket. Do not wait to see whether anything happens.
Yes, from your notification preferences. Account and money emails are worth keeping on, but product updates are entirely optional.
Withdraw your funds, then open a support ticket asking us to close it. We will confirm before doing anything irreversible.
Open a support ticket. Because the email address controls account recovery, we verify the change rather than allowing it silently.
Accounts are disabled rarely, usually where we need to verify something. Your funds and holdings remain safe, and support can explain what is needed.
Security
Encrypted connections, hashed passwords, verified identities, sign-in alerts for new devices and a full audit trail on administrative actions. The security page covers this in detail.
Never. Nobody from the platform will ask for your password or ask you to move funds somewhere for safekeeping. Anyone who does is not us.
