From signing up to your first trade in four steps
Open your account
Your name, email and a password. We will send a confirmation link to check the address is yours. This part takes about two minutes and costs nothing.
Verify who you are
Upload a photo ID and proof of address. This is a legal requirement for anyone handling money, and it protects your account from being opened in your name by someone else. Reviews usually finish within 48 hours.
Add funds
Choose a deposit method, send the payment, and upload a screenshot so we can match it. Your balance updates once we have confirmed it arrived. The minimum is ten dollars.
Place your first trade
Pick an asset, enter an amount in units or dollars, and confirm. You will see the exact price and total before anything happens.

Buying at the live price
A market order buys immediately at whatever the price is right now. You can enter it two ways — a number of units, or a dollar amount you want to spend. Either way we show you the other figure before you confirm, so there is no guessing. Stock orders only go through while that market is open; crypto trades around the clock.
Setting a price and waiting
An automated order sits and waits. You name a price to buy at or sell at, and it fills on its own if the market reaches it. For a buy order, the estimated cost is locked from your balance so the money is there when it fills. Orders expire after 30 or 60 days, whichever you choose, and you can cancel at any time.
Watching your portfolio
Every holding shows what you paid, what it is worth now, and the difference. Prices refresh automatically while markets are open. If a price source is unavailable we tell you the figure is out of date rather than quietly showing you an old number.
Taking money out
Link a payout account once, then withdrawals take a couple of clicks. The amount is held aside while we review the request, so it cannot be spent twice. You can also schedule a withdrawal for a future date if you prefer.
What it costs
Our fees are listed in full on the fees page. Nothing is deducted that you have not seen before confirming.
If something goes wrong
Open a support ticket from inside your account. You can attach screenshots, and whoever picks it up can see your account history, so you will not have to explain everything twice.
